Terms of Service
Effective July 16, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and The Kindred Chaos, LLC ("we," "us," "our"), the operator of the Craft Business Success Suite™ software and website (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who can use the Service
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure.
2. Your account
You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us at support@thekindredchaos.com immediately if you suspect unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Plans, purchases and refunds
The Service offers a Free tier and one-time paid upgrades (Pro and Premium). Paid features unlock upon successful payment. All purchases are processed by Stripe. Unless required by law or expressly stated at the time of purchase, one-time purchases are non-refundable. If you believe a charge is in error, contact us within 14 days and we will review in good faith.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) misuse or attempt to disrupt the Service; (b) reverse engineer, resell, or sublicense the Service; (c) upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content; or (d) use the Service to violate anyone's rights.
5. Your content
You retain all rights to the business data, plans, and materials you create in the Service ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you.
6. AI-generated output
The Service uses AI to generate suggestions, drafts, pricing calculations, and plans. AI output can be inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing any output before relying on it for business, financial, tax, or legal decisions. The Service is not a substitute for professional advice.
7. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its design, code, copy, and trademarks (including "Craft Business Success Suite™"), is owned by The Kindred Chaos, LLC and its licensors. Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no rights are granted to you.
8. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties (including Stripe for payments and our cloud and email providers). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.
9. Marketing Communications
Account holders may receive occasional promotional communications from Craft Business Success Suite™, including craft business tips, product updates, feature announcements, special offers, discounts, events, coaching information, and related business content. You may opt out at any time through Account → Email Preferences. Once promotional email begins, each promotional message will include an unsubscribe method. Opting out of marketing does not cancel your account, reduce purchased access, or stop essential transactional communications (including account confirmations, password resets, security notices, purchase and access information, refund or dispute information, support responses, and important Service notices). You are responsible for maintaining a working email address for important account and purchase communications.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE KINDRED CHAOS, LLC AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR USD $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if required to comply with law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 5, 7, 10, 11, and 13) will survive.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Ohio, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the Service or by email. Continued use after the effective date of an update means you accept the updated Terms.
